Ah, the weekend

Well it is now Saturday evening. The boys' had football practice Friday Night where we found out their first football game was pushed back until October 14th. They both played so hard today that they both were asleep by 9pm tonight. Unusual for JC but he doesn't stop between football and more football he's always moving.

School update...I am just waiting to hear about what financial aid I can qualify for. I received a letter today from the school with my student ID#. Once I get my financial aid information, I will set up an appointment with the teachers who run the program I want to enroll in and hopefully I will start school January 3, 2007!!

Thursday

Hi everyone! I just got some sad news that my closest friends grandma is not doing well and don't expect her to be with us much longer. My thoughts and prayers go to her and her family. I have known them all for over 20 years. I breaks my heart to think they are going to lose such a lovely lady!!!

They boys are into regular football practices. Their first game will be October 7th but I don't have a time yet. Will let you all know when I do.

Good Morning

Hey there everyone. What a beautiful morning. I just finished submitting my FAFSA form. Now I sit and wait. I am helping at JC's school to get free pictures so I need to go. Just wanted to let everyone know where things stand for school!!

Monday.....Monday

Well, it's another Monday. I did receive acceptance of admissions into Pierce. I am waiting for a "pin" number so I can apply for financial aid on line. I should hopefully have it tomorrow. So now I have the ball rolling.

Here I was enjoying the cooler days and rain and now we are back into the 70's & 80's. Guess I will have to get the rest of the yard work done.

A boring day here at the Crandall's so I will sign off for now.

What a beautiful day

Hey everyone! What a beautiful day it was today. My mom came for a visit. She is doing ok. She has a cold so I am a bit worried but she tells me not to worry.

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and support in my pursuit of an education. I have to admit I am a bit nervous about going back to school. The boys think it is cool that their mom is going to go to college. Hopefully they still think it is cool when the laundry isn't done and they are eating mac 'n cheese 2-3 nights a week!!

Well this picture represents where I wish I was and where I wish I could live year round. I wish I could wallpaper my house in this print to help keep me stress free.

I applied for emissions today at Pierce College. Now I wait and they send you a financial aid package and I will get that all filled out and hopefully start in January.

The boys went to the track (Emerald Downs) with Tiffany today. It was another birthday celebration for Joe. He loves to watch the horses run. We don't ever place bets just love to watch.

Birthday Friday

Today is Joe's 45th birthday! He spent it doing one thing he loves...playing football. The boys loved their first practice but we love Coach Chris. He was JC's coach last year and we requested him this year. Joe will be the assistant coach for both teams. We had a late dinner at Applebee's and now everyone is getting ready for bed.

We had another reality check tonight with JC when I had to order his dinner off the regular menu and not the "kids" menu!!! His dinner cost as much as mine!

I have a lap of cat so more later!

Rainy Thursday

Well...JC is off to his first Skate Night of the school year right now. He went with friends which is a first for us. Usually I take him and stay in case he were to get hurt. Trying to cut the cord a little bit. But it does make me feel like a lousy mom.

Tiffany starts a new job at Grandma's Corner Daycare. She will have a set schedule Monday thru Friday which will be nice for everyone.

Christopher is just so excited to start flag football! Everyday he comes home and let's us know how many more days until Friday.

Guess that is all for now. Am still working on pictures to put up. Maybe have to ask other bloggers how to do it but I will try!!

I did it

Hey everyone. Here is the beginning of my blog. It will take some time to add pictures and stuff but I will get to it.

The boys start flag football practice Friday night. Great way for Joe to spend his birthday! HE will be assistant coaching again. I will let you all know when games start and where. They are both so excited. They have the same coach but are on different teams. Christopher is on the 3/4th grade team and JC is on the 5/6th team.

Anthony is having his tonsil surgury on November 17th. We are hoping it will help him eat better and grow and hopefully not snore so loud!!!
