Vacation here we come!!!!

Yes, we are finally taking another family vacation. Those don't come along in our family that ofter so we are so excited. We are headed to Long Beach again which is where we went the last time we took a real vacation. We are staying at the Breakers. The boys are so excited because there is an indoor pool and hot tub. They cannot wait to get there so we can swim!! Maybe I will get to swim without two leaches on me. Joe can deal with that.

We leave Thursday about 1pm after the boys are out of school (conference day) and they will just miss school on Friday (another 1/2 day). We come home Sunday. Then the following week they are on Spring Break and headed to Nana's on Wednesday until Easter morning. I on the other hand start Spring Quarter on Tuesday, April 3rd. This quarter I have night class Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-7:40. OF course I still have two other "lab" classes.

I took JC to get a "trim" and the woman butched it. She cut off the back to match the sides and the bangs are so short they look more like girls bangs. He is so upset and I have to say I am too. It looks ok but it wasn't what we asked for. She also thinned it which we did not ask her to do.
Thank goodness it will grow. Of course until then he hates it and plans to wear a hat at all times possible.

Ok..I gotta get laundry done so there are clothes to pack to leave!! Let you all know how things went when we get back!!

A whole week

Wow...it's been a whole week since I have been at school or had to study. Boy it feels good. I have enjoyed being lazy. I haven't even managed to get my house clean yet. I need to work on that and have it done by Monday. We are all so looking forward to going on vacation. Thursday at 1:00pm cannot come soon enough.

Today JC had his follow up for his ADHD screening. Yes, we are highly ADHD with emphasis on Hyper part. We start a medicine tomorrow morning. See how things progress and do a med check in 30 days. If we need to, we will up the dosage. JC is actually relieved to be starting this med so he can get his head to stop and be able to sit still at school. He has asked for help so I know this is something we need to do. Will keep you up to date about how things are going.

Our thoughts are with Brendan as he is still battling a migraine. He is on day 25 and has missed 3 weeks of school. They are talking of doing a spinal tap on Friday. OMG...I know Stephanie is going crazy as I know I would be too.

I DID IT!!!

Today was officially my last day of class!!! I made it thru my first quarter. Now I just wait for my grades. I should be able to look at them on line Monday or Tuesday. I am anxious to see them. More so I am anxious for my medical terminology grade. I know as they quarter progressed and I got my study partner, my test scores improved so it will be interesting to see what my final grade it. I will just be happy with a solid C. I should get pretty good grades from my other two classes. My night class..I had 5 projects...4 got 4.o and one got a 3.75. Should do good there. My computer class...I got 4.0 on all my assignments so we'll see.

Next quarter I have night class two nights a week. Tuesday and Thursday's from 5:30-7:40, of course medical terminology II and a 10 key class. That should be an easy A since I know how to run one of those very well. And it's a good thing I take my classes on a grant other wise I would be upset about having to pay for a class I know how to do but I have to take 90+ credits inorder to get my degree so she cannot waive everything I can do or I won't have enough credits to graduate in the end.

I am off to bed...exhausted now that I am done and both my ears are plugged and starting to hurt so I am afraid I am going to have a rough night....send good vibes my way that I don't.

I did it

Well, I got A's on my last two tests of terminology. My quarter for that class is over. I will go to my night class, give my 2 minute summary of my paper and that will be over. Then Thursday, I have to do the last unit for my computer class and then I am all done until April 3rd!!! I cannot believe I acutally made it thru the quarter. I think I am going to celebrate by getting my hair cut and a pedicure. I got paid for some babysitting today and I deserve a treat!!! Plus my hair really needs to be trimmed and my feet look awful. I always say I am going to keep them up after I get them done but never seem to make the time for it.

I am really looking forward to going on vacation at the end of the month. And believe it or not, I think it will be good for all of my family to go. We all need to get away. The boys' are excited that I have no more studying to do for a bit. Guess now I don't have an excuse as to why I don't have time to clean the house. Guess I will work on it, darn.

Last week of the quarter

Well..it sure has been a while since I posted a blog and so much has happened. I got sick, nothing new there! Jorge (my son-in-law) got hurt exercising a horse. He spent a week at Harborview having surgery on a broken pelvis. He went home today!!! I did get to spend lots of time with Anthony while mom and dad were at the hospital. Loved it!!!

Brendan, my god-son, is batteling migraines. They are taking him to various hospitals and just when it goes away, it comes back. I do not know how to help him or his mom. Just be there when she needs to vent!!

Tomorrow starts my last 4 days of school. I have 2 terminology tests to take and 2 units to finish in my other class. I was hoping to be farther ahead but getting sick did not help that. My poor study partner waited for me to feel better to study with me. She is the best.

This is short but I gotta get to studying...I have a house full of kids all day and won't be albe to study with them here.
