5 Days and counting

Well...we have 5 sleeps until school starts!!! I can't wait. I have a lot to get done in the 15 days until I start school/work but I am determind to get it all done. I have a long list along with having to go to school and learn new programs before school starts. So I will spend 3-4 a day at school, then come home and try to get 2-3 things off my list done a day. I have to fit in a trip over the mountains to my moms in there too. But it will all work out. Some of the projects the whole family can work on over the weekends.

My JC is growing up. He has hair in places I don't really want to know about. He got real picky with his clothes this year. His shoe laces are driving him nuts because they are too fat and long. He says they look retarded when he ties them. We had to buy him mens shorts....size 28's. We actually bought a size 30 and a belt for one pair. He just had to have them. Thank goodness they were buy one get one 50% off. He was excited to shop in the store and buy something from it. His friends go on and on about buying clothes there so now he can say I bought something there too. We got a good deal on T-shirts (I guess) if a deal is 2 for $24.99. They are the name brands he really wanted and they are "so cool"..."Thanks Mom"...at least he appreciates everything he got. I don't know how many times he has told me thank you with big hugs and kisses.

I am off to do laundry and dishes.....

Two weeks and counting

well we are down to two weeks from today that the boys' go back to school. I cannot tell you how excited I am. They have been fighting really bad lately. Christopher gets more and more sneaky.

This is my last week with Anthony. Tiffany's last day is Friday. And I only have two more days with Wyatt. I am going to have two weeks without kids during the day before I start school. Man, I won't know what to do with myself. Yeah I do....clean....clean....clean. Gotta get everything scrubbed before I start school and get rooms gutted.

Once I start school and work I will be busy. But I am looking forward to that. It will help fill some voids for me. I get lonely for adult conversations. It would help if I had friends.

I am off to clean the kitchen...joy of my life!!!

23 days and counting

That is all we have left until school starts. This mom is happy!! Jc is actually ready to go back to school. He is excited to go. All we really need left to get him is school shoes and a backpack. Of course we cannot agree on backpacks. He wants on from Zumies that he is willing to pay for himself that will cost him at least $50 and I want him to get one that is $15-20 and I will purchase it. It sucks when they start wanting the name brand stuff. Thank goodness Christopher doesn't care what he wears.

Starting Monday I will be going to school on Monday and Wednesday evenings until they close until Fall quarter starts but I will be going up during the day with security letting me in after the kids go back to school. I need to learn the first couple of chapter of the new MS 2007 Office program. It is what I will be helping the other students with after school starts.

My next two weeks of babysitting will be quiet. I only have Wyatt and Anthony. The Free's have plans for the next two weeks (boo hoo me...no money). I will be doing more school clothes shopping after I get me left over grant money.

12 YEARS!!!!!

Wow...12 years of marriage. I wasn't sure we would make it but we did. I have to say I am proud of my marriage. We have overcome some obstacles as every marriage does. On Friday evening we got together with Joe's two brothers and it made me reflect on the past 12 years. Joe and I are the only ones that have not divorced. It made us both feel good.

Just wanted to share!!!!!

We finally saw Marc

well we finally got to see Marc...the long lost brother of Joe's. He wasn't really lost but his life has changed lots in the last two years. He looks great. We got to see his kids too. Last night was Stew's birthday and all three brothers were together. IT was a great night. Everyone had a great time. Tiffany and Anthony came to see everyone.

Tomorrow Joe and I celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary. It's ironic how between all three boys, our marriage is the only one that lastest. Mike was married when I met Joe and he is no longer with Barb, Marc got married the year before Joe and I and he is now divorced. I have to say I am proud of my marriage with Joe. Sure we have had our ups and downs as all marriages do but we have managed to work all our problems out and have a good marriage. That doesn't mean I don't want to kill him most days but it's normal stuff...you know....leaving dishes on the floor or dirty socks. But I am so thankful he is not out drinking in bars or hanging with a group of guys who all like to drink. I am still training him. Some days are better than others. But hey...I am no picnic to live with either. I can be just as "lazy" as he can. I get tired of picking up after all three males in this house so I go on strike and if you could see my house right now....holy moly. It's a pit. But today when everyone is up we are cleaning as a family. We'll see how that goes.

wow....that was a long post.....not that anyone really reads this....but if you do great....comment and let me know someone reads this.
